Battersea is fishing-and-boating country — Dog Lake on one side, Loughborough on the other, and the Rideau waterway threading it all together. The village grew up around Henry Van Luven’s mills, and its homes still mix 1800s stone with modern lake-life builds.

Yes — the village and the lanes around Dog Lake and Loughborough Lake are all within our regular range, about 25 minutes from base. Request a quote and we’ll come out for a look.

Can you work on seasonal cottages, not just year-round homes?

Absolutely. We schedule around your season — building while you’re away or while you’re up, whichever you prefer — and we plan materials and logistics for cottage-road access. Photos and a lot plan are enough to start the conversation.

What’s the right surface for a boat-and-trailer driveway?

Interlock on a properly compacted base handles trailer loads without rutting the way gravel does — and it drains, unlike asphalt patches. We size the base for the real weight and add a soldier-course edge that keeps everything locked in place.
