Odessa is Loyalist Township’s crossroads village — the fairgrounds, the creek, the old mill, and streets that mix century farmhouses with newer family builds off Highway 2. It’s twenty minutes from our Kingston shop, which means quotes come quick and the crew shows up when we say it will.
Whether it’s a paver driveway to replace tired asphalt, a backyard deck for the kids, or a bathroom that hasn’t been touched since the eighties, we build it the mill-village way: straightforward, solid, priced honestly.
Local knowledge
The land around Millhaven Creek holds water — heavy soils that heave hard when frost gets under a poorly built surface. Our answer is the same one the mill builders had: get the foundation right. Full-depth excavation, compacted granular base, and grading that moves water away before it can do damage.
On open lots outside the village, wind exposure matters too. Fence posts set below frost with proper footings, deck framing sized for drifting snow loads, and materials that shrug off a country winter — that’s standard practice on every Odessa job.
