The largest of the Thousand Islands runs on its own rhythm — the ferry’s. We plan every Wolfe Island job around the crossing, and bring mainland standards over the water with us.
The Wolfe Islander crossing
Serving Wolfe Island
Wolfe Island has been crossing to Kingston since the first ferry licence in 1802, and today the free Wolfe Islander makes the run year-round. Limestone farmhouses, Marysville village homes and a growing set of island retreats all share one thing: every contractor, every load of pavers and every stick of lumber arrives by boat.
That’s a logistics problem we enjoy solving. We batch materials, book crossings around the schedule, and plan island days so the crew lands working — you get mainland quality without paying for ferry-line idle time.

Local knowledge
Nothing on Wolfe Island hides from the weather — the wind that spins the turbines works on every deck board and fence post too. We build for the exposure: hardware and railings that don’t corrode, fence posts set deep against the wind, and pavers bedded to survive open-field freeze-thaw.
Island scheduling runs on honesty. Because mobilization matters more here, we scope thoroughly up front, combine phases where it saves you crossings, and give quotes that price the whole reality — no surprise “island charges” appearing after the fact.
